The cast iron heat exchanger casing on these engines is robust, but corrodes and eventually leaks where the brass filler neck is bonded to the casing. A new heat exchanger is prohibitavely expensive and we have therefore put together a comprehensive kit that will enable you to repair your existing casing using a new filler neck and high quality 'cold weld' epoxy. Basic workshop tools will be needed to carry out a successful repair and the annotated guide above shows the process.

- X1 brass heat exchanger neck
- x1 heat exchanger cap
- x1 packet of JB Weld epoxy (excellent stuff, with plenty left over for other jobs!)
- x1 set of heat exchanger gaskets and seal
- x1 5ml tube of Hylomar gasket sealant for the coolant gaskets
